Last updated: July 16, 2026. By creating an account or playing Lost Vessel, you agree to these terms.
Lost Vessel is an online idle role-playing game operated by Lazy Frog Games and accessible via lost-vessel.com and through the Steam client. The game is provided as a service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, with or without notice.
You agree NOT to:
Violations may result in chat mutes, account suspensions, or permanent bans, with or without prior warning depending on severity. We reserve the right to remove user-generated content (chat messages, usernames) without notice if it violates these terms.
You retain ownership of content you submit (chat messages, custom usernames, etc.). By submitting it, you grant Lazy Frog Games a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and store that content as necessary to operate the game.
All artwork, code, music, gameplay systems, item designs, lore, and trademarks associated with Lost Vessel are the property of Lazy Frog Games or are used under license. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the game's assets except as expressly permitted (e.g. sharing screenshots and streaming gameplay for personal, non-commercial use is welcomed).
Lost Vessel is free to play. The only optional purchases are Supporter Packs, which are strictly cosmetic and confer no gameplay advantage. Virtual items and cosmetics are licensed to you, not sold, have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be modified or discontinued. Where a purchase is a gift, the purchase is made by, and charged to, the buyer.
On Steam. Purchases made through the Steam client are sold and processed by Valve Corporation under Steam's own Steam Subscriber Agreement and refund policy. Lazy Frog Games does not process those payments and cannot issue refunds for them; please direct refund requests to Steam Support.
On the web (lost-vessel.com). Purchases made on our website are sold directly by Lazy Frog Games. Card and wallet payments are processed on our behalf by our payment provider, Stripe; we never receive or store your full payment details. Prices are shown in US dollars and include any applicable taxes where required.
Right of withdrawal (web purchases, EU/UK consumers). Supporter Packs are digital content supplied without a physical medium. As a consumer you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because the content is delivered immediately, we ask you at checkout to expressly request immediate performance and to acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once delivery begins. We record that consent with each payment. If you do not give it, we cannot open the checkout. Where a purchase has not yet been delivered, or where the law provides otherwise, your statutory rights remain unaffected. This does not apply to Steam purchases, which follow Steam's own refund policy.
Lost Vessel is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that bugs will be fixed within a particular timeframe.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lazy Frog Games shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost progress, lost virtual items, or lost playtime, arising out of or related to your use of Lost Vessel. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for damages that cannot be excluded under German law (such as injury to life, body, health, or damages caused by gross negligence or intent).
You may stop using Lost Vessel at any time and request deletion of your account (see Privacy Policy, section 7). We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. On termination, your access to the service ends and your associated save data may be deleted.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on the International Sale of Goods and excluding any choice-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence remains unaffected. The place of jurisdiction for disputes is the location of the operator's registered office, to the extent permitted by law.
We may update these terms as the game evolves. Material changes will be announced via an in-game notice or on lost-vessel.com at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
Last updated: July 16, 2026. This agreement covers the Lost Vessel client software distributed via Steam. It supplements the Terms of Service above; where the two address the same subject, the Terms of Service govern the online service and this agreement governs the software licence.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Accounts may not be sold, traded, or shared. We may change, update, suspend, or discontinue the Game or any feature at any time.

By submitting it, you grant Lazy Frog Games a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the Game. We may remove content that violates this Agreement.
The Game and all artwork, code, music, gameplay systems, item designs, lore, and trademarks are the property of Lazy Frog Games or are used under licence. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Sharing screenshots and streaming or recording gameplay for personal, non-commercial purposes is permitted and welcome.
Details of the personal data we process and your rights under the GDPR are set out in our Privacy Policy.
This licence terminates automatically if you breach this Agreement. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations, with or without prior warning depending on severity. You may stop playing and request deletion of your account at any time. On termination your access ends and associated save data may be deleted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Game is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted or error-free. Statutory warranty rights for consumers remain unaffected.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lazy Frog Games is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost progress, lost virtual items, or lost playtime. Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under German law, including liability for injury to life, body, or health, or for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
We may update this Agreement. Material changes will be announced in the Game or on lost-vessel.com. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you additionally enjoy the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
